Armstrong® Floor Cleaner
Can I use Armstrong® Floor Cleaner on vinyl floors?
Yes, Armstrong® Floor Cleaner can be used on most vinyl floors.

Can I use Armstrong® Floor Cleaner on wood floors?
No, we don't recommend using Armstrong® Floor Cleaner on wood floors. We recommend using Pledge® Wood Floor Cleaner on sealed wood floors.

On what surfaces can I use Armstrong® Floor Cleaner?
Armstrong® Floor Cleaner is great for cleaning no-wax and ceramic tile floors. It leaves no dull, sticky residue and no rinsing required!

Will Armstrong® Floor Cleaner remove the Future® floor wax I put on my floor?
No. It is okay to use Armstrong® Floor Cleaner as directed over Future® and Brite® floor polishes to keep your floors clean. There are no harsh chemicals and the detergents used in Armstrong® Floor Cleaner won't strip wax.

Can Armstrong® Floor Cleaner be used with ammonia?
Yes, together it works well in removing wax build-up. To remove build-up on floors, mix 1 cup of ammonia and ¼ cup of Armstrong® Floor Cleaner with ½ gallon of cool water. Spread over a 3' x 3' area. Let stand 5 minutes, scrub and rinse with plain water. Repeat until build-up is removed and entire floor is clean.

Will Armstrong® Floor Cleaner make my floor yellow?
No, Armstrong® Floor Cleaner does not cause yellowing to floors, it is a cleaner that leaves your floor clean with no dulling residue left behind.

Isn't Armstrong® Floor Cleaner made by Armstrong Floor Company?
No, SC Johnson has an agreement with The Armstrong® Company to use their name on OUR Armstrong® Cleaner. Armstrong® Floor Cleaner is made by SC Johnson Company. Once 'N Done is a similar product made by The Armstrong® Company and both products are compatible. Armstrong® Floor Cleaner (made by SC Johnson) is available in Discount stores, Mass Merchandisers (like Wal-Mart, K-Mart) and Grocery stores.

Do I have to dilute Pledge® Wood Floor Cleaner before using on my wood floors?
No, Pledge® Wood Floor Cleaner can be applied directly from the bottle. Squirt in a 3' x 3' area. Using a damp mop, clean area thoroughly. When used as directed, Pledge® Wood Floor Cleaner works to maintain your wood floor's natural finish.

Can I use Pledge® Wood Floor Cleaner on all types of wood floors?
Pledge® Wood Floor Cleaner is great to use on sealed wood surfaces, laminate, vinyl, no wax, and ceramic. Consumers should test in an inconspicuous area before using on unsealed wood surfaces; some floors may be water sensitive.

Is Pledge® Wood Floor Cleaner just for floors?
No, Pledge® Wood Floor Cleaner is also great for cleaning wood paneling, cabinetry and woodwork. It leaves no dull, sticky residue and no rinsing required!

Is Pledge® Wood Floor Cleaner compatible with products previously used on my wood floor?
Pledge® Wood Floor Cleaner is a water-based formula and is compatible with most products. However, if you're uncertain, we recommend you test first in an inconspicuous area.

What is Pledge® Multi Surface Floor Cleaner?
Pledge® Multi Surface Floor Cleaner is a new floor cleaner that allows you to clean multiple floor surfaces (both sealed wood and nonwood). Pledge® Multi Surface Floor Cleaner does not require diluting, so you can just squirt and mop both wood and nonwood floors, including ceramic tile, vinyl and linoleum. Pledge® Multi Surface Floor Cleaner has a fresh citrus scent and leaves no residue behind.

How is Pledge® Multi Surface Floor Cleaner different from Pledge® Wood Floor Cleaner?
Pledge® Multi Surface Floor Cleaner can be used safely on both sealed wood and nonwood floors, while Pledge® Wood Floor Cleaner is designed specifically for use on sealed wood floors.

Brite® 1-Step
What is Brite®?
Brite® 1-Step Floor Shine Cleaner quickly and easily gives you a sparkling, clean floor. Its advanced formula offers three benefits in one product-it cleans away the dirt and grime, brightens your floor, and provides lasting protection.

On what surfaces can I use Brite®?
Brite® can be used on a wide variety of floors, including:
· Asphalt Tile
· No-Wax
· Sealed Ceramic
· Sealed Stone
· Vinyl
Brite® is not recommended for use on cork, terrazzo or wood floors or on unsealed ceramic or unsealed stone surfaces.

How do I use Brite®?
Sweep or vacuum floor to remove loose dirt. Squeeze out a puddle (dinner plate size) of Brite® 1-Step Floor Shine Cleaner. Spread over 3'x3' area with a damp mop. Clean area thoroughly with a back and forth motion (loosening and picking up dirt). End with even strokes. Transfer dirt into bucket by rinsing mop clean. Move on to the next area. Repeat until finished. Floor will dry to a brilliant shine in just 10-15 minutes.

Hints for Brightest, Cleanest, Fastest Drying Results:
If your floors look dull due to waxy build-up from other products, you can remove the build-up using the following method:
Mix 1 cup of ammonia and 1/4 cup of Brite® 1-Step Floor Shine Cleaner with 1/2 gallon of cool water. Spread over a 3'x3' area. Let stand 5 minutes, scrub, and rinse with plain water. Repeat until build-up is removed and entire floor is clean.

How can I remove Brite® from my floor?
To remove Brite®, use an ammonia solution.

Mix 1 cup ammonia, 1/4 cup non-chlorine all-purpose cleaner (such as Armstrong® Floor Cleaner) into 1/2 gallon cool water.

For Vinyl or Sealed Ceramic Floors
· Apply solution to 3' x 3' sq ft area.
· Soak for 3 -5 minutes.
· Scrub with natural or nylon bristled scrub brush.
· Wipe up solution.
· Rinse thoroughly, changing water often.
· Let floor dry.
· Repolish.
· This procedure removes approximately 5 -7 coats at a time.

How can I prevent streaks or dullness when I use Brite®?
· Be sure that the floor is thoroughly cleaned (dusted, vacuumed) prior to Brite®.
· Apply an even coat of Brite®.
· Be sure the floor and/or sponge mop is free from any cleaner residue.
· Be sure to scrub to remove the remove previous coat of cleaner from the floor.

What is Future® Floor Polish?
Future® Floor Polish is an acrylic floor finish for no-wax & regular floors. Future® Floor Polish provides long lasting acrylic protection. Nothing outshines Future®.

On what surfaces can I use Future® Floor Polish?
Future® Floor Polish can be used on a wide variety of household surfaces, including:
· Asphalt Tile
· Linoleum (inlaid or printed)
· Masonry Floors
· No-Wax Surfaces
· Rubber Tile
· Sealed Ceramic Tile
· Sealed Flagstone
· Sealed Stone
· Slate
· Terrazzo
· Vinyl
Future® Floor Polish is not recommended for use on vinyl laminate flooring, cork floors, Mexican tile, unsealed ceramic tile or wood floors.

How do I use Future® Floor Polish?
Thoroughly clean floor with a product like Armstrong® Floor Cleaner, let floor dry, then spread Future® Floor Polish evenly with a clean sponge mop, cloth or other applicator. Future® will normally dry in 20-30 minutes.

HELPFUL HINTS:
· For increased shine and protection, a second coat of Future® may be applied. Allow 8 hours between applications.
· First time users should thoroughly clean their floor with a solution of 1cup ammonia and 1/4 cup Armstrong® Floor Cleaner in 1/2 gallon cool water. Then rinse floor with clean water.
· Future® should be removed from your floor every 6 to 8 applications or annually with a solution of 1 cup ammonia and 1/4 cup Armstrong® Floor Cleaner in 1/2 gallon cool water. Then rinse floor with clean water.

How can I remove Future® Floor Polish from my floor?
To remove Future® Floor Finish, use an ammonia solution.

Mix 1 cup ammonia, 1/4 cup non-chlorine all-purpose cleaner (such as Armstrong® Floor Cleaner) into 1/2 gallon cool water.

For Vinyl or Sealed Ceramic Floors:
· Apply solution to 3' x 3' sq ft area.

SC Johnson® One Step
What is SC Johnson® One Step?
SC Johnson® One Step is a waterless formula that gives wood floors a rich luxurious satin finish. SC Johnson® One Step cleans deep — it lifts away dirt and heel marks, without leaving a build-up. Each new coat of SC Johnson® One Step dissolves the previous coat. SC Johnson® One Step is self polishing - it dries to a shine without buffing.

On what surfaces can I use SC Johnson® One Step?
SC Johnson® One Step is great for sealed wood and cork floors, as well as other fine wood surfaces, such as wood furniture and wood paneling.

SC Johnson® One Step is not recommended for use on vinyl laminate flooring or asphalt tiles.

How do I use SC Johnson® One Step?
Begin by sweeping or vacuuming up any loose dirt. Shake SC Johnson® One Step well before using. Pour a small pool of SC Johnson® One Step onto floor. Spread evenly with a clean cloth or wax applicator. (Do not use a sponge or sponge mop). Keep cloth or applicator well saturated. Use just enough rubbing action to loosen dirt. Finish with smooth, even strokes in one direction. Use the product liberally so that the floor appears uniformly wet. Let dry. The floor will dry to a deep, rich shine in 20-30 minutes. There is no need for buffing. Wash applicator in a pail of detergent solution.

How can I remove SC Johnson® One Step from my furniture or floor?
To remove SC Johnson® One Step, use a mineral spirits solution.
For sealed wood furniture:
· Pour a small amount of mineral spirits onto the surface.
Caution: Do not let mineral spirits run or drip off surface.
· Use a clean, folded cloth and circular washing motion to clean the surface.
· Wipe surface dry immediately with another clean cloth.
· Continue cleaning section by section until all wax, polish or soil are removed.
· Change cloths frequently to avoid redepositing the wax, polish or soil.
· Can re-use SC Johnson® One Step after this. Rewax or repolish, if desired, to restore shine and protection.

For sealed wood floors:
· Pour the mineral spirits on a 2 sq ft area.
· Use a clean, folded cloth and circular washing motion to clean floor.
· Wipe floor dry immediately with another clean cloth.
· Continue cleaning section by section until all wax/soil are removed.
· Change cloths frequently to avoid redepositing the wax/soil.
· Can use SC Johnson® One Step after this. Rewax/repolish, if desired, to restore shine and protection.

Can I use SC Johnson® One Step with other floor care or home cleaning products?

SC Johnson® Paste Wax
What is SC Johnson® Paste Wax?
SC Johnson® Paste Wax is an original blend of hard finish waxes, including Carnauba, that provides a rich, satiny luster to a variety of household surfaces.

What surfaces can I use SC Johnson® Paste Wax on?
SC Johnson® Paste Wax gives lasting beauty and protection to all sealed wood surfaces, metal, leather, plastic cork and vinyl. SC Johnson® Paste Wax is excellent for antique furniture and worn or damaged wood.

SC Johnson® Paste Wax is not recommended for use on vinyl laminate flooring, rubber, asphalt or painted furniture or floors.

How do I use SC Johnson® Paste Wax?
Begin with a clean, dry surface. Apply a thin coat of SC Johnson® Paste Wax, working with the grain. Allow the wax to dry to a haze, then buff with a soft, dry cloth. For floors, wait 20-30 minutes before buffing with an electric polisher.

How can I remove SC Johnson® Paste Wax from my furniture or floor?
To remove SC Johnson® Paste Wax, use a mineral spirits solution.
For sealed wood furniture:
· Pour a small amount of mineral spirits onto the surface.
Caution: Do not let mineral spirits run or drip off surface.
· Use a clean, folded cloth and circular washing motion to clean the surface.
· Wipe surface dry immediately with another clean cloth.
· Continue cleaning section by section until all wax, polish or soil are removed.
